In the spring of 1992, our owner went to a local home improvement store to buy low voltage pathlights
for his backyard. After seeing the selection (or lack there of) and the quality of their lights, not to
mention having to pick out the lights under the blaring fluorescent lights… he thought to himself –
there has to be a better way!!!
Thus the story of Landscape Lighting Supply begins… founded in August 1992, Landscape Lighting
Supply Company is a family owned and operated business, complete with our “Shop Dog”, Ellie. We
started our “mom and pop” business in a small 700 sq.ft. rented space and have grown (and are
outgrowing) into our own 7,000 sq.ft. building. Specializing in outdoor lighting, we are distributors for
the finest quality landscape lighting products in the industry. We offer one stop shopping for fixtures,
lamps, wire and connectors in both low-voltage and line-voltage.
Don't be fooled by other companies claiming to be “the nation's only outdoor lighting supplier” or “the
only exclusive landscape lighting showroom in the country”; we're the chicken that came before those
eggs - or maybe we're the egg that came before those chickens! Landscape lighting is all that we do,
and we do it well!
We know the industry and we know the products. We only stock THE BEST performing fixtures in the
industry. If one of our fixtures consistently fails in the field, we will pack up our inventory and ship it
back to the manufacturer. We wouldn't sell you anything that we wouldn't put in our own backyards!
So now you might be asking yourself, so what’s the difference between what you stock and what your
owner found at the home improvement store that fateful day? The answer is quality. Our lights are
made of the highest quality materials (cast aluminum, brass, solid copper, etc). Each finish is baked-
on, using a high-tech powder coating method. The cheap lights, although some are metal, are spun
aluminum and have a spray painted finish that will chip and fade over time (especially in the Texas
sun). Our lights have high-temperature wiring and porcelain sockets designed to handle the intense
heat created in the small enclosures. Therefore, they can handle much higher wattages and are not
just limited to 20-watt light bulbs. ALL our manufactures have at least a 3-year warranty on their items
from top to bottom...some are even for a lifetime!
