- LAMP TYPES: MR16 Low Voltage Miniature Bi-Pin Halogen lamp. Must be ordered
separately.
- HOUSING: Aluminum housing is machined from premium 6061-T6 alloy, sealed with a
chromate conversion process and protected by a powder coat finish.
- SHIELD/LENS ASSEMBLY: Shield/Lens assembly is available in eight combinations to
maximize design flexibility. Shield is machined from premium alloys to match housing.
Lens is tempered glass.
- SSDR – Short Shield with Recessed Lens (20 watt max)
- SCDR – Collar Shield with Recessed Lens and Aqueducts
- S3DR – 30° Cutoff Shield with Recessed Lens
- POSI-SEAL: Lenses are mechanically retained in the shield by an innovative system that
provides a compressive force and a positive seal. This feature, known as Posi-Seal,
provides reliable protection against water and dirt intrusion. Posi-Seal eliminates the
need for silicone adhesive, which is a source of problems in some competitive fixtures.
O-rings used to seal the lens and housing are high temperature silicone or Viton®
fluoroelastomer material.
- FINISH: Standard finish on aluminum luminaires is BRS – Bronze Smooth polyester
powder coat.
- LAMPHOLDER: High-temperature ceramic bi-pin GX5.3 lampholder is standard.
Lampholder is attached with stainless screws, allowing easy replacement.
- MOUNTING: RM – Rear Mount arms have a ½” NPSM threaded stainless steel
connector for attachment to mounting devices.
- OPTICS/AIMING: Lamp type and wattage determines optic performance. ALV Accent
Lights are easy to adjust, aim, and lock in place.
- WIRING: Pre-wired with 250°C rated, 18 gauge, Teflon® wire.
- Premium aluminum alloys protected by a chromate conversion process and
polyester powder coat finish provide ALV Series with incredible corrosion
resistance, ensuring a long life and trouble free operation.
- Shield/Lens combinations give designers unequalled choice and flexibility.
- Precision O-ring sealing system prevents dust and water ingress.
- Available Spread Lenses, Color Filters, and Louvers expand performance.
- Waterproof wire connectors are provided with each low-voltage luminaire.
